WELCOME TO TOURINORD

Tourinord is an organization dedicated to promote tourism ans economic development in the Northern Region of Haiti. We want to help the people of the North and Northern Haiti improve their living condition with a series of rural and other sustainable development projects.
The Northern part of Haiti has a lot to offer to the foreign and local tourist. The region boasts splendid beaches, historical monuments to magnificent fortresses. At Labadee® you'll find the bluest of calm Atlantic Ocean adjacent a curvaceous belt of lush mountains. The Baie d'Acul ( Bay of Acul) is located further west along the coast almost completely closed off from the ocean. Christopher Colombus used that bay as a shelter during his first voyage. Columbus' flag ship the Santa Maria fell victim to a reef further down the coast from Acul near our project in Caracol. Many small islands and reefs complete the vista across the bay. You can see the famous Ile de la Tortue (Tortuga Island) on the horizon.
